Dear walking book clubbers,
It’s been wonderful to see you on our two walks discussing the weird and wonderful Journey by Moonlight by Antal Szerb, translated by Len Rix. Thanks to Jonathan for this excellent photo. I think we were just agreeing with Michael’s rather lovely point that on our monthly walking book club walks, we’re going on our own journeys - physical and emotional, if not by moonlight!
The conversation continues this evening over Zoom. Please join me to discuss this Hungarian classic, or if you’d like to discover a little more about it. Unlike our walks, you are very welcome to join our zooms even if you’ve not read the book.
Hope to see you tonight:
Emily’s Zoom Book Club: Monday 22nd July, 8-9pm, £1-15
If you’d rather connect directly, rather than via Eventbrite, you can do so here:

And that’s a wrap … until the Autumn!
I’ve loved walking and talking with you this year, and indeed for the last decade. Thank you so much for making Emily’s Walking Book Club the special place it is.
Really looking forward to sharing our Autumn books with you. There are details of all our Autumn 2024 walks here:
