Hi Victoria, thank you for this. I've had a look on the system and it seems as though this is now resolved? Substack certainly thinks you've been receiving and opening the emails! Let me know if there's anything else I can do, or a better email address to send them to. Thanks.
So interesting to learn about the EM Delafield play - will definitely try to catch it. Also good to know that Donatella di Petrantontio has a new book as I loved A Girl Returned. I enjoyed A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Bridge and Matthew Bourne's The Midnight Bell at Sadler's Wells, based on the works of Patrick Hamilton (unfortunately, it was only visiting for a week on its UK tour). Maybe we could do a Hamilton novel at some point.
I'm looking forward to rereading Persuasion in Lyme Regis next month and maybe I'll take The French Lieutenant's Woman (which I've never read) too.
Julia, always such a great to get your recommendations, thank you! I loved the FLWoman - hope you do too, and enjoy going to Lyme Regis, lucky you. Great setting for so much reading.
Love the Patrick Hamilton idea - noted!
The new Donatella is very different to A Girl Returned - I'd be really interested to know your thoughts on it, if you get to it so do let me know!
I subscribe to your Walking Book Club but don't get this in my email. Have checked all folders. How to I subscribe.

I'm going to see Giant on 10th July. Very much looking forward to it.
We can compare notes! x
Totally agree, the film is very survival.
Yahoo! Love Persuasion and also enjoy the film version with the handsome Cieran Hinds.
The best screen version hands down. Amanda Root is wonderful too.
Putting that on my to watch list NOW! Thanks so much Maggie x
